This article introduces a macro collection for the Windwalker Monk specialization. It is specifically designed for the Conduit of the Celestials Hero Talent build, which is currently the most popular and effective option for Windwalker Monks. Whether in Mythic+, Raid, or even PvP, this build performs exceptionally well. This macro collection is tailored for M+ content.

Windwalker One-Button Rotation Macro
This is a one-button rotation macro for Windwalker Monk. It helps you deal with nearly all combat scenarios without much manual control—just press the button and watch it go. The macro uses 243 characters, which is quite long, and although long castsequences usually risk skill delay, this one performs smoothly. One slight drawback is that the rotation should ideally end with another Spinning Crane Kick, but there’s no character space left.
When using this macro, if you find yourself with enough chi, it’s a good idea to manually cast Spinning Crane Kick to maximize output.
Burst Macro
Blizzard doesn’t allow Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger to be placed in a /castsequence
. Therefore, this macro uses modifier keys to handle both burst abilities. When you use the macro without holding any key, it casts Xuen. If you hold Alt/Shift/Ctrl, it casts Celestial Conduit, and by pressing again while holding a modifier, you can also trigger Unity Within.
Mini Burst Macro
This macro includes several of Windwalker’s core burst tools. When clicked, it first casts Strike of the Windlord. Thanks to the absence of GCD, Storm, Earth, and Fire is instantly triggered, creating a powerful synergy that reduces the resource cost of Strike of the Windlord. A second click casts Slicing Winds. This skill requires charging, but you can delay the activation by timing the second click.
Control / Cleanse / Heal
This macro adapts based on your mouseover target:
- If you mouseover an enemy, it casts Paralysis
- If you mouseover a friendly target (or yourself), it casts Detox
- If no target is selected, it heals yourself with Vivify
