Patch: Mists of Pandaria Classic (Beta) | GSE Version: 3.2.32+

This article introduces the Mists of Pandaria Classic Blood Death Knight GSE strings. You can import these into the addon to generate pre-configured macros for easier combat. These macros are freshly made and currently performing well in the Beta server. I had plans to test their soloing strength in dungeons but haven't been able to for various reasons. Once MoP Classic officially launches and Level 90 becomes available, I will conduct further tests and consider optimizing these macros.

Macro Overview

After importing the GSE strings, you'll get two macros: "BDK_ST_KF" and "BDK_AOE_KF". Each has a single sequence configuration.

  • BDK_ST_KF: This is the single-target version. It opens with Bone Shield + Horn of Winter. The skill rotation includes Death Strike, Outbreak, Rune Strike, Heart Strike, and Death and Decay. I've controlled the frequency of Outbreak to prevent excessive use and energy waste.
  • BDK_AOE_KF: This is the AoE version. It has the same opener (Bone Shield + Horn of Winter). The skill rotation is largely similar but includes Blood Boil and features adjusted spellcasting logic to better suit AoE combat.

Keybind Modifiers

  • Hold Shift + GSE hotkey: Casts Raise Ally on a dead friendly target; otherwise, casts Soul Reaper.

Notes

  • This Blood DK macro does not include burst cooldowns like Empower Rune Weapon, Dancing Rune Weapon, or Army of the Dead. The intention is to provide the player with more control and room for error. The macros handle damage and tanking, leaving you to focus on managing your own and your teammates' survival. Of course, in future updates, I might consider creating a fully automated version.
