Fight! Feral Druid Macros for WoW: The War Within
Macros
This guide presents a complete set of Feral Druid macros optimized for the Druid of the Claw Hero Talent Tree. If you're running the Wildstalker spec, these macros may not perform optimally (I haven't tested Wildstalker myself). But if you're aiming to push higher Mythic+ keys as Feral, the macros below will absolutely help.
Here’s the recommended talent import string:
CcGAkuH5GdQpDrgY32rlVGnyqBAAAAAAmZb2MzCzMzMbzGjtZmZmHYmBAAAAAYJY2MGzgaGzyYZmZWGzYAAAAAAAAAAgA0MLzyMz2ACsAzMAswMM
If the import string becomes outdated, refer to the screenshot below for talent reference.

Feral Druid Opener Macro
This macro opens by shifting into Cat Form and activating Prowl if you're not stealthed or in combat—getting you prepped for an opener. The rotation prioritizes energy efficiency. You'll notice Shred isn’t used often. That’s because macros can’t dynamically detect Clearcasting procs to make the most optimal choice. If you cast Shred without Clearcasting, it drains too much energy and can stall your rotation. By shifting Clearcasting to other spells, the macro maintains better consistency and DPS.
Single Target Finisher Macro
If Ravage is available, this macro prioritizes it. Otherwise, it uses Ferocious Bite. Hold any modifier key (alt/shift/ctrl) to cast Rip instead.
AOE Finisher Macro
Same logic as above, but this version uses Primal Wrath as the modifier-based AOE finisher.
Single Target Burst Macro
This macro delivers a peak burst cycle against a single target. Due to macro length limits, Convoke the Spirits is excluded — you can cast it manually after the macro completes. Holding a modifier key casts Tiger's Fury. If you only have one usable trinket, make sure it's in slot 13 for this macro to work.
AOE Burst Macro
Like the single-target version but built for AOE using Primal Wrath. Trinkets and potions are not included here — you can trigger them via the separate burst macro below.
Important: Bloodtalons Activation
Both burst macros rely on Bloodtalons. Do not start combat by immediately using them — you’ll lose DPS. Instead, always start with the opener macro to trigger three distinct abilities and activate Bloodtalons before executing your burst macros. Mastering Bloodtalons timing is essential for high-level Feral play.
Burst Utility Macro
Use this macro to trigger Convoke the Spirits, both trinkets, and Tempered Potion. Use it right after the opener, then follow with a rotation macro.
Feral Druid Survival Macro
This macro casts Regrowth on yourself by default. Hold Alt to use Barkskin + Regrowth, or Shift to use Survival Instincts + Renewal. Simple, intuitive, and covers three levels of survivability.
