Ironbrew Mastery! Brewmaster Monk GSE Macros for WoW Classic: Mists of Pandaria

I've created a Brewmaster Monk GSE macro for Mists of Pandaria Classic that's currently performing well. Please note that this macro was tested on a Level 90 character with 463 ilvl gear during the MoP Classic Beta. This Brewmaster macro rotation includes all fundamental rotation skills, but I haven't added in burst or emergency skills with cooldowns longer than 2 minutes. As a tank specialization, protecting teammates is paramount, and abilities like Avert Harm need to be manually managed. Macros are for convenience, not to turn you into a robot.

Macro Overview

After importing the GSE strings, you'll get two macros: "BRM_ST_KF" and "BRM_AOE_KF".

• BRM_ST_KF: This macro contains a single sequence and is designed for single-target encounters. When out of combat, it will use Stance of the Sturdy Ox to put you in a more survivable state. The opener includes Chi Burst + target-directed Summon Black Ox Statue, requiring you to control your mouse. Concurrently, it will use your trinket commands, then proceed into the normal pulling and damage rotation, utilizing Dizzying Haze, Jab, Keg Smash, Blackout Kick, Tiger Palm, and self-casting Expel Harm.
• BRM_AOE_KF: This macro also contains a single sequence and is for AoE situations. It uses Rushing Jade Wind instead of Jab. Therefore, your recommended talent build is 2311131. As mentioned at the beginning of the article, after importing the string, go to the Configuration interface, and you will see the recommended talents.

Keybind Modifiers

• Hold Alt + GSE hotkey: Casts Elusive Brew.
• Hold Ctrl + GSE hotkey: Casts Ring of Peace centered on yourself.
• Hold Shift + GSE hotkey: Casts Paralysis on an enemy target, or Detox on a friendly target.

Notes

• Talent Lookup: For all MoP GSE macros, after importing the string, click on the ST macro. At the bottom of the Configuration interface, the talent numbers will be displayed, for example, "223311".
• Trinket Command: The trinket command is in action block 3.1. If you don't want it to be used automatically, you can delete the entire line.

• Targeting of Abilities: Abilities within the macro rotation are mostly targeted (mouse-over or direct target). This is for the sake of rational mob pulling when out of combat. The keybind modifiers, however, are all cast centered on yourself, as these abilities are typically used in combat to handle sudden situations. If you prefer otherwise, you can change the `@player` (cast on self) and `@cursor` (cast at mouse cursor location) conditions as needed.
