Unstoppable! WoW Arms Warrior GSE Macro Guide (11.2)

I have updated the Arms Warrior raid GSE macros to version 11.2 (the old version was released on another of my websites). Currently, it is the SLAYER build, which is also the strongest single-target build for Arms Warriors in WoW 11.2. Regarding the GSE macros, the DPS performance remains quite good. However, it is important to note that due to some prerequisite abilities (for example, not using Colossus Smash first can cause a large DPS loss), the character-specific macro ARMS_OPENER cannot be reused. This makes the playstyle slightly inferior to Fury Warrior in terms of smoothness, as the second burst phase relies more on modifier keys.

Import String

Importing the string generates “Arms_Raid_KF” and “ARMS_OPENER”.

Macro Sequences

“Arms_Raid_KF” is the Arms raid setup with one sequence. It uses Rend, Mortal Strike, Colossus Smash, Overpower, Execute, Slam, and Thunderous Roar. Impending Victory is disabled in Action Block 1.6. If you want to override the healing effect, you can re-enable it and save the sequence. If you stop attacking for 5 seconds during combat, Rend will take priority to reapply its DoT.

Modifier Keys

• shift + hotkey: use Avatar + both trinkets + Bladestorm → Storm Bolt. Remember to press twice to ensure Storm Bolt is successfully cast.

Character-Specific Opener

“ARMS_OPENER” is a character-specific macro, which can be found with /m. This macro will use Avatar + both trinkets while executing the skill sequence: Rend → Thunderous Roar → Colossus Smash → Bladestorm → Storm Bolt. This sequence will reset after 10 seconds.

Recommended Rotation

Recommended rotation is: open with “ARMS_OPENER”, then follow up with the GSE macro. If you bind it to your mouse wheel, you will find the DPS performance excellent. The second burst phase requires triggering with shift + hotkey. Important: If you use the GSE macro first, many key abilities may already be on cooldown, which can cause the character-specific “ARMS_OPENER” to lock up. Be sure to avoid this issue.
