Epic! Fury Warrior SLAYER GSE Macro Guide (WOW 11.2)

Patch: WOW 11.2 | GSE Version: 3.2.34+

Before using this macro, please refer to the GSE Addon Macros section in my About Me page for important setup tips.

The Fury Warrior SLAYER build received a Blizzard fix on September 2 and has since become the “popular specialization.” I created a set of SLAYER build macros that feel smooth to play and show strong simulation performance. If you enjoy using the SLAYER build in Mythic+, the macros below are designed for you.

SLAYER Fury Warrior String Explanation

Importing will generate “Fury_ST_KF”, “Fury_AOE_KF”, and “SLAYER OPENER”. Both “Fury_ST_KF” and “Fury_AOE_KF” have one sequence each, semi-automatic, and will not automatically use cooldowns or trinkets. They are built around Rampage, Raging Blow, Execute, Bloodthirst (single target only), and Whirlwind (AOE only).

Modifier Keys:
- alt + hotkey: casts Shockwave.
- shift + hotkey: casts Bladestorm.

In practice, Bladestorm’s cooldown resets faster than Storm Bolt, so binding Bladestorm separately instead of using “/castsequence Bladestorm, Storm Bolt” is better.

“SLAYER OPENER” is character-specific and can be found via /m. It will cast Recklessness + Avatar + both trinkets, then execute: Bladestorm, Storm Bolt, Whirlwind, Rampage, Thunderous Roar. Removing Whirlwind makes it a single-target burst.

Strictly speaking, Thunderous Roar should be prioritized, but in reality Bladestorm tends to get a shorter cooldown, so it is placed first.

Detailed GSE Rotation Explanation

1、Single Target: This build spams a very high number of Raging Blow to maximize DPS, which can lead to downtime with no skills available. Bloodthirst mainly serves as filler and should not be overemphasized. Its frequency is very low. Disabling Action Block 3 in “Fury_ST_KF” stops automatic use of Bloodthirst.

2、AOE: Ideally, between two Whirlwinds, four single-target skills should be cast. In practice, using “Fury_AOE_KF,” this number fluctuates. Forcing a strict sequence of Whirlwind → 4 ST skills → Whirlwind reduces fluidity and delays more Bladestorm cooldown reductions. In the SLAYER build—and Fury Warriors overall—damage output hinges heavily on cooldown management.

Recommended Playstyle

To maximize DPS, use “SLAYER OPENER” for your opener. For the second Bladestorm, trigger it via the GSE shift modifier. Only use “SLAYER OPENER” again if you want to unleash another full burst window.

OK, have fun in the game, see you next time!
