Insane! Destruction Warlock GSE Macro Guide (WOW 11.2)

Before the weekend, I’m sharing a Destruction Warlock single-target raid build using the DIABOLIST setup. Currently, this is one of the strongest single-target talent builds, and Destruction sits in the S-tier for raid performance. With this macro, you can easily reach around 95% of your gear’s DPS ceiling—and that’s being conservative. At the end of this article, I’ll point out one critical detail to avoid DPS fluctuation, so don’t miss it.

Destruction Macro String Explanation

Destruction has several playstyles that work well with GSE, and this one is among the smoothest. The core rotation revolves around managing five abilities: Chaos Bolt, Conflagrate, Incinerate, Immolate, and Soul Fire. The pacing feels very natural and comfortable in combat.

Importing will generate “Destro_Raid_KF”. This sequence has only one action block. By default, if you have no demon summoned, it will cast Fel Domination + Summon Imp. The opener uses one additional Soul Fire, then activates trinkets and enters the main combat loop (the five core spells above).

Modifier Keys:
- shift + hotkey: casts Immolate.
- ctrl + hotkey: casts Summon Infernal at your cursor location.

Important Note

The DoT from Immolate can theoretically be maintained with 100% uptime, since Soul Fire refreshes and extends its duration. Therefore, the macro is configured to cast Immolate only once. It will only reapply after resetting combat, pausing for 8 seconds, or swapping targets. If for any reason the DoT drops off in real encounters, use shift + hotkey to manually reapply it.

You can also lower the reset window from 8 seconds to something shorter, like 2, 3, or 5 seconds—adjust based on your own preference.
