Smash!Fury Warrior Macros for WoW: The War Within
Macros
Hello! This post presents a set of Fury Warrior macros for World of Warcraft: The War Within, specifically designed for the MOUNTAIN THANE Hero Talent build. These macros are optimized for Mythic+ content and also include lightweight versions suitable for casual PvP.
Believe me, this macro set is extremely user-friendly. It allows you to execute your damage rotation smoothly and deliver outstanding DPS.
If the string becomes outdated, refer to the talent image below for reference.
Macro Collection
The following macros are divided by function. Some are for damage rotation, others handle utility and survivability. Use whichever fits your situation.
Rampage + Raging Blow Macro
This macro is meant to be used before entering combat. It opens with Charge, and even includes mouseover Charge support. It strictly follows the order of Rampage → Raging Blow. Think it won’t work well? Just keep reading.
Thunder Clap Macro
This macro is designed to complement the Rampage + Raging Blow macro. When Rampage is unavailable for any reason, simply spam this Thunder Clap macro. Think of it this way: whichever macro is usable, use that one. You don’t need to worry about having Raging Blow in both macros causing disruptions. Thanks to Hack and Slash and Wrath and Fury, Raging Blow will always be available.
Additionally, this macro prioritizes the variant skill Thunder Blast when it procs, ensuring you never waste a precious DPS window!
Self-Healing Macro
This macro is a simple keybind saver. By default, it casts Impending Victory to heal yourself. If you hold down any modifier key (alt/shift/ctrl), it will cast Enraged Regeneration instead.
Execute + Control Macro
By default, this macro casts Execute. If you hold alt, it will use Shockwave for AoE control. Holding shift or hovering over a target will instead cast Storm Bolt for precise single-target crowd control.
Burst Opener Macro
Fury Warrior is a burst-dependent spec, and this macro helps unleash your full damage potential. It triggers Avatar, Recklessness, both trinkets, and even a potion.
Here’s how it works: when out of combat, pressing this macro will Charge at your current target or mouseover. Once in combat, pressing it again activates Avatar and Recklessness. Pressing it repeatedly after that will also use Thunderous Roar and Ravager. Don’t forget—Ravager requires you to select a ground location.
To summarize: start with the burst macro, follow with the Rampage + Raging Blow macro. When Rampage isn’t usable or when Thunder Blast procs, switch to the Thunder Clap macro. That’s your full damage cycle—simple and effective!
