Macros

This article introduces a complete set of Arms Warrior macros for World of Warcraft: The War Within. These macros are primarily designed for the Colossus Hero Talent tree and perform exceptionally well in Mythic+ scenarios. Arms Warrior macros are a bit more complex compared to Fury Warrior, mainly due to the fully separate nature of their single-target and AoE rotations.

That said, while you’ll need to manage more macros, this setup still covers most combat situations. A recommended talent import string will be provided below：

Single-Target Main Rotation

This macro alternates between Mortal Strike and Overpower before finishing with Slam. It helps smooth out downtime in the rotation and keeps your rage spending consistent. Battlelord procs make this rotation stronger but also more unpredictable.

This short macro is designed to minimize GCD lockups and focus on Cleave uptime. It rotates through Cleave, Mortal Strike, and Overpower for efficient AoE.

Single-Target DoT Application

Use this macro at the start of a fight to apply Rend and cast Warbreaker while their timers align. Excellent for prepping your burst window.

AoE DoT Application

Instead of Rend, this macro applies Thunder Clap alongside Warbreaker and Sweeping Strikes for maximum cleave efficiency. Use in AoE pulls.

Burst Macro

This macro starts with a Charge if not in combat, and then casts Thundero and Ravager at your cursor location. It also activates Avatar, your trinkets, and Tempered Potion.

Execute Macro

This macro casts Execute by default. Holding alt will trigger Shockwave for AoE control. Holding shift casts Storm Bolt at your mouseover target.

Survivability Macro
