Macros

This macro suite is built around the Elemental Shaman specialization using the STORMBRINGER Hero Talent tree. I have not tested FARSEER, so I strongly recommend STORMBRINGER. Single Target Rotation

This macro handles single-target rotation. If Icefury procs, it will cast immediately. When Icefury is not active, it casts Flame Shock → Lava Burst → Lightning Bolt. To mitigate Lava Burst cooldown gaps, I included more Lightning Bolt casts for smoother flow and reliable damage.

The castsequence could technically be shorter (like Lava Burst ×1 + Lightning Bolt ×3) to form a clean loop, but this may cause inconsistent pauses. If you find your Lava Burst usage is sufficient, feel free to simplify the sequence. There’s no fixed macro—just what best fits your gear and stats.

AOE Rotation

This macro excels at AoE damage. If Tempest procs, it will cast immediately. Otherwise, it will continually cast Chain Lightning. That’s it? Yes—Elemental Shaman in this build is that straightforward and explosive. If you activate Ascendance while using this macro, you’ll rocket to the top of the DPS chart in M+.

Maelstrom Spender Macro

This macro separates Maelstrom spenders from generators. The advantage is smoother flow when resources are low, while the tradeoff is that you’ll need to rotate this macro with your main rotation. It’s a 1+1 cast pattern, effective for both single-target and AoE.

Burst Opener Macro

Use this macro during high-pressure AoE or boss fights. It combines three burst abilities, beginning with Ascendance—a devastating buff that defines Elemental Shaman’s peak output across patches 11.1 through 11.1.7 (and likely 11.2). Just note that damage dips significantly between cooldowns.

This macro can also be reused for Stormkeeper every minute, thanks to the 20-second reset window.

Utility Macro

This versatile macro heals you with Healing Surge by default. Holding a modifier key uses Poison Cleansing Totem. Mouseover an enemy to Purge, or a friendly target to Cleanse Spirit.

Note: Test the keybinding location. For example, using shift+Y may conflict with the Achievements panel, so consider using alt+Y or remapping.

All macros above use /cancelform [form:1] to instantly exit Ghost Wolf form when triggered. This ensures seamless combat transitions from mobility or trap-dodging scenarios. I excluded Spiritwalker's Grace so you can control movement casting manually. Earth Elemental was also left out due to its long cooldown, making it inefficient for macro use.
