Macros

This macro suite is designed for Havoc Demon Hunters using the ALDRACHI REAVER Hero Talent tree. It is primarily built for Mythic+ but can be adapted for Raid content with minor changes I’ll explain below. Believe me, it’s quite simple and worth doing if you like this build’s raid performance.

Main Rotation Macro

This macro is designed for infinite looping. You’ll notice it includes many Chaos Strike casts, but for practical in-combat output, this still isn't excessive. If you enjoy tweaking macros, consider adding 2–3 more Chaos Strike casts to help Immolation Aura run more smoothly. Don’t worry—there’s another macro to help when you’re energy-starved.

Whenever Reaver's Glaive procs, this macro will prioritize casting it. This condition is built into all macros in this suite and won’t be repeated below. Holding a modifier key (alt/shift/ctrl) will cast Vengeful Retreat and then Fel Rush; press the macro twice to use both.

Important for Raid: If you're using this macro in Raid, remove the first Immolation Aura from the castsequence, since Raid talents typically don’t grant it two charges.

Opener & Fury Recovery Macro

If you run out of Fury while using the rotation macro, use this one to refill and recover. It also makes a great opener, thanks to Felblade, which instantly charges you into the enemy—smooth combat engagement and it looks cool too.

For Raid: Modify the castsequence to Felblade,Immolation Aura,Sigil of Flame and shift Immolation Aura out of the rotation macro—it’s more efficient this way.

Eye Beam Macro

This is the Eye Beam macro for Havoc DH, designed to precisely control your damage burst. When facing a large pack of enemies—or during critical boss fights—be sure to time this macro well. Doing so will give your DPS a dramatic spike in seconds.

This macro also has a Raid variant. If your build includes the active ability Essence Break, update the castsequence to: Eye Beam, Essence Break, Blade Dance, Chaos Strike.

Burst + Defense Macro

Since Havoc DH lacks many defensive tools, I’ve included Blur here under a modifier key. Without modifiers, it casts your full offensive burst setup, including trinkets and potion.

The ability order goes like this (based on known conditions): 1st click: The Hunt; 2nd click: Reaver’s Glaive + trinkets + potion; 3rd click: Metamorphosis at your location; 4th click: Sigil of Spite at your location.
