Demonic Precision! Vengeance DH Macros for WoW: The War Within
Macros
This macro suite is designed for Vengeance Demon Hunters, originally optimized for the FEL-SCARRED Hero Talent but now fully adapted for ALDRACHI REAVER as well. In fact, I found the ALDRACHI REAVER setup surprisingly effective during final testing. These macros are suitable for both Mythic+ and Raid content, offering flexible performance regardless of the encounter type.
Main Rotation Macro
This macro runs on a loop. The only occasional hiccup comes from Fracture, which may desync due to its cooldown, potentially causing a 1-second pause near the end of the sequence. But in real combat (not dummy testing), this delay is negligible. Felblade is the first spell cast, and you can change the reset to reset=5
if you want it to be more frequent. Holding a modifier key (alt/shift/ctrl) casts Spirit Bomb. If using the ALDRACHI REAVER tree, the macro will prioritize Reaver's Glaive when it mutates from Throw Glaive.
Burst Macro
This macro casts Metamorphosis → Sigil of Spite → Fiery Brand in sequence. Trinkets are also triggered—feel free to remove them if your trinkets are defensive in nature. Sigil of Spite is cast at your location by default. To place it at your cursor instead, replace @player
with @cursor
. Holding a modifier key will cast Fel Devastation.
AOE Sigil Macro
By default, this macro casts Sigil of Flame at your location. Hold alt
to cast Sigil of Chains, or shift
for Sigil of Silence. You may replace all @player
with @cursor
for mouse-targeted deployment. If you prefer, Sigil of Misery can replace Sigil of Chains depending on your playstyle. I personally avoid using ctrl
modifiers to keep macros simple and avoid conflicts.
Reaver's Glaive Macro
This macro may look minimal and easy to overlook, but I strongly recommend replacing The Hunt with it when running the ALDRACHI REAVER build. Here's why: during combat, there are moments when Reaver's Glaive becomes suddenly available. If you're using The Hunt as a regular cast and trigger it during such moments, it can delay or block the use of Reaver's Glaive due to how the game mechanics work. This often results in lost DPS, especially if you forget the proc happened.
The macro below ensures Reaver's Glaive always takes priority—so you'll never miss a proc again.
As mentioned earlier, this macro setup works exceptionally well with the ALDRACHI REAVER tree. Specifically, the main rotation macro is capable of consistently maintaining the Thrill of the Fight passive—try it and you’ll be impressed.
