Patch: Mists of Pandaria Classic| GSE Version: 3.2.32+
Long time no see! I've been leveling my MoP Druid lately, and that's why I'm releasing this Feral Druid GSE macro. When you switch to Bear Form, it will also use bear-specific damage abilities. I'll explain exactly how it works shortly. Of course, the ultimate goal of this macro is to help you level up with ease — one button does it all!
Druids may not be as strong in MoP as they used to be, but for leveling, Feral is still the top pick. It offers great sustain, unmatched mobility, and excellent burst — the key reasons to choose it.
Macro Overview
Importing will create two macros: "LEVELING" and "AOE" (the latter is a character-specific macro found under /m
).
"LEVELING" is the main GSE macro. Bind it to a comfortable key (like mouse wheel up/down). When unshifted, it will:
- Enter Cat Form
- Cast Savage Roar to boost damage
- Enter Stealth
- Open combat with Ravage
After Stealth fades, it enters a DPS rotation using Rake, Mangle x2, and Ferocious Bite. It also casts Faerie Fire, Tiger's Fury, and your first trinket (/use 13
).
Tiger's Fury is intentionally delayed — Feral has very high burst already. If you’re using a Heirloom weapon, Ravage can take 50%–70% of a target’s HP. Delaying Tiger’s Fury helps with energy management and is more useful for bosses.
Keybind Modifiers
Holding Shift
will switch between Cat and Bear Forms. While in Bear Form, using "LEVELING" switches to a tanky damage rotation using Mangle, Lacerate, Maul, Thrash, and Swipe.
When should you go Bear?
- If you're below level 45 — Feral is inefficient at lower levels. Bear Form is better for solo-pulling multiple mobs while questing.
- In dungeons — if your tank dies, switch forms instantly to keep the group stable.
AOE Macro
"AOE" is a lightweight character-specific macro (see /m
). It performs the AOE sequence: Thrash → Swipe → Swipe → Swipe → Swipe.
When re-entering combat, it starts again from Thrash. Make sure the tank has gathered enemies before using it — the bleed effect will shine then.
Holding any modifier key (Alt, Shift, Ctrl) will cast Savage Roar — usually done before pulling.

Glyphs
- Glyph of Savagery (strongly recommended)
- Glyph of Dash (optional)
Glyph of Savagery lets you use Savage Roar with 0 combo points, granting 12 seconds of +45% physical damage. Whether questing or facing short dungeon fights, this helps Feral deliver powerful burst damage quickly.
